Arthrosis of the kneecap joint and the internal or external joint gap (bicompartmental arthrosis)

If only the kneecap joint and the internal or external part of the joint of the hollow of the knee are arthrotically changed and all ligaments are stable and intact, then the partial replacement of both these joint parts can be performed from time to time. Here again the clear advantage is, that no ligament has to be “sacrificed” and that only what is pathologically changed will be replaced. Especially younger patients benefit from that.
